A 5.0-magnitude earthquake hit Nepal on Friday, rattling the region just days after Myanmarâs deadly tremor. The earthquake, confirmed by the National Center for Seismology, caused tremors that were felt across Delhi-NCR, sparking panic among residents. Though no major damages were reported, the back-to-back seismic activity has raised concerns about increased tectonic stress in the region. With Myanmar and Thailand still reeling from devastation, Fridayâs quake adds to a series of tremors shaking South Asia this week. Emergency teams are on alert as aftershocks remain a possibility.
